In case of finished wood, the finishing is done in the factory itself, so it takes less time to install them.
Engineered Or Solid Wood Flooring
Solid wood flooring is a single piece of wood from top to bottom. They can be installed on or above grade and you can send them later in time. Engineered wood, on the other hand, are actual wood but made up of wood composite veneers or multiple kinds of wood. They offer more stability and can be refinished later too.
