Action movies are at the heart of Indian cinema for a long time now. Action Jackson is one of the movies that belong to this genre starring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, and Yami Gautam. Making her debut in the movie, Manasvi Mamgai is also playing a bold role in this action film. Ajay Devgn plays a double role in the movie, which is not his first time. The movie released on December 5, 2014 in Indian theatres. Directed by Prabhu Deva, this is the first time when Ajay Devgn and Prabhu Deva worked together on a project.
Plot
Vishi (Ajay Devgn) is a small-time criminal who can do anything for money. He falls for Khushi (Sonakshi Sinha) and then they both start a relationship. Vishi, who is frequently seen involved in street fights, beats up a gangster, publicly. The gangster seeks revenge on him and attacks Vishi with his gang. The gangster beats him brutally and escapes the scene.
Later, they realize that the person they beat up was not Vishi, but Jai (Ajay Devgn). Jai is Vishi’s look-alike. The Police arrive and the goons escape, while Vishi is found alive on a bike. Vishi beats up the same goons brutally.
On the other hand, Inspector Shirke (Puru Rajkumar) arrests Jai and hands him over to the group of gangsters headed by Pedro. Jai kills them single-handedly and they realize that he is an assassin nicknamed AJ, who works for Xavier Fonseca. AJ rescues Xavier’s sister Marina from kidnappers, and she falls for AJ/Jai but he rejects her as he is married to Anusha (Yami Gautam).
Xavier tries to get Anusha killed so AJ can marry his sister, but his attempts go in vain. However, the attacks injure Anusha brutally. AJ manages to escape to India and is in the process of getting his wife treated. In India, AJ spots Vishi and reveals the whole story. Jai asks if Vishi could go to Bangkok as AJ in his place to fool Xavier and Marina. Vishi takes his friend Musa with him to Bangkok. Shirke finds AJ and is about to inform Xavier, but he gets killed in a very suspicious manner.
Marina realizes the whole game and tortures Musa to give away all the information he has on Vishi. Musa reveals that Vishi is AJ’s look-alike and AJ is in India treating his pregnant wife. Xavier kidnaps Vishi, Anusha and the baby to bring AJ to Bangkok. AJ reaches the spot and kills everyone and runs away with Anusha. Later, Robert (one of Xavier’s henchmen) is seen rescuing AJ’s baby.
