Agaba is Jordan’s only coastal city and is the gateway to the famous Wadi Rum. Palm Beach or Al Hafayer is a beach that is ten minutes away from the downtown Agaba. Their archaeological museum introduces you to the long and painstaking history of the city much before the first World War with inscriptions of Quranic verses and Fatmid coins. The Sherif Al Hussain bin ali mosque is a striking piece of architecture that the art enthusiasts would not want to miss.
- Wadi Rum
A home to many endangered species of flora and fauna, Wadi Rum is an ancient trade route and inhabitants of the Bedouin community. Some of the popular things to do here include jeep tours, overnight camping, hiking, climbing, trekking and horse or camel riding. The camping in the region involves a taste of the Bedouin culture and food with an overnight stay. Hijaz railway takes you back in the early 1900’s with a restored railway station through the heart of the dessert. Who could possibly think of saying no to this?
